Born in rainy Portland, Oregon, Kevin has more than a decade of production experience in both the Media Arts and Graphic Design. Kevin has produced everything from commercials, to documentaries, to short form animations. Always active in the animation community, Kevin has attended fifteen Siggraph Conferences and regularly volunteers to assist at the local animation events.
In 2005, he completed his Bachelors of Science in Computer Animation. Several months later, Kevin began dividing his time between the development of an Animated Series and continuing his studies working towards a MFA in Computer Animation. The following winter marked the beginning of Kevin’s employment as a professor of animation at Portland State University. Encouraged by the growing pool of dedicated talent he had surrounding him, Kevin formed the artistic collective, Whynaut Animation Studios. In 2014, he completed his MFA in Computer Animation and is currently seeking work while continuing to develop more Animated projects.
His current projects include "Puppy Love", "Pizza", and "How to Cook a Cornish Game Hen". When he isn’t involved with animation he spends his time browsing comic shops, enjoying the occasional game of bowling or billiards, immersing himself in photography, reading Kevin Hearne's The Iron Druid Chronicles, and going to as many movies as possible.
